Title:Vice President – Transition Services
Location: Remote (Based in the Southeastern Region)
Employment Type: Perm/Full-Time
Description:
The Vice President of Transition Services will play a critical role in guiding Financial Advisors through the process of launching their own Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). This role involves managing all aspects of advisor transitions, including asset transfers, compliance coordination, and operational setup. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wealth management, project management, and client service, with the ability to streamline processes and enhance the overall transition experience.
Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding and Transition Management:
Oversee and implement processes for onboarding new advisors and clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
Project manage the launch of new RIAs, including asset transfers and firm setup.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams, including Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Support, to facilitate seamless transitions.
Act as a liaison between advisors, clients, and internal departments, addressing and resolving transition-related issues.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives to drive business growth.
Project Management:
Monitor progress, track milestones, and provide stakeholders with regular updates.
Lead, delegate, assign, and follow up on projects to ensure successful execution.
Qualifications:
Experience in advisor transitions, including asset transfers and onboarding.
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives.
Extensive knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements, preferably within wealth management.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and financial planning software.
