VP Software Engineering - Daley and Associates

VP Software Engineering-Boston/Hybrid

Our client is seeking an outstanding VP of Engineering for their team, adept in an independent, innovation-driven environment. Candidates MUST currently be located in the Greater Boston area and have the ability to be on-site 1-2 days a week. There is no sponsorship or visa transfers available. Candidates must be a US Citizen or GC holder to be considered. NO C2C.

Key qualifications include:

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years leading remote and in-person teams, focusing on team growth
• Proven experience in hiring, mentoring and managing other engineers
• Expertise in scaling software, ensuring security and resilience
• Proficiency in developing Web/SaaS applications would be ideal
• Have managed engineering using modern languages like Python and React
• Ability to manage AWS infrastructure across multiple regions and seize new opportunities
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
