About the Job
RETS Associates has been retained by our client, a privately held real estate investment firm, to recruit a Vice President, Real Estate Operations (“VP”) to be based primarily in Salt Lake City, Utah. The VP will assist in formulating the real estate operations strategy for Utah as well as lead, mentor, and build a team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and strategic leader with a deep understanding of multi-family, luxury, and mixed real estate operations with a heavy emphasis on concierge level of customer service. The VP must have a strong ability to lead external and internal property management teams as well as be well versed in processes and procedures in operations.
The main asset focus will be a luxury, high-rise multi-family development known for its premium amenities, tenant-focused services, and innovative management practices. This is a pivotal role focused on driving operational excellence, optimizing tenant experience, and ensuring financial performance. There is a heavy emphasis on a concierge level of customer service and candidate must demonstrate experience in this area.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
- 10+ years of experience in property management, real estate operations, or asset management, with at least 2-4 years in luxury multi-family high-rise properties.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Expertise in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and lease management.
- Experience with technology and vendor management in a real estate context.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. A willingness to hop on the phone and make things happen is preferred.
- BA or BS degree in business, planning, or management is a plus.
Compensation: Base salary range $180,000, plus bonus - DOE
