GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Strategy Development:
- Define and execute the overall product strategy for the Wealth Division, ensuring alignment with broader company goals and market trends.
- Lead the product lifecycle management process, from ideation and development to market introduction and ongoing optimization.
- Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
- Develop strategies to enhance product offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the wealth management industry.
- Innovation and Product Development:
- Drive innovation by collaborating with technology, sales, and marketing teams to create new products and features that address evolving market demands.
- Oversee the roadmap for key products such as Global Plus, Addvantage, Charlotte, WealthWare, and TrustDesk, ensuring timely delivery and successful market adoption.
- Financial and Business Oversight:
- Manage the financial performance of the product portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that maximize revenue growth and market share.
- Partner and New Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance product capabilities and extend market reach.
- Lead initiatives to acquire new clients and expand relationships with existing customers, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Rationalization and Optimization:
- Evaluate the product portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and market demand.
- Implement rationalization initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency across the product suite.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers and strategists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with senior leadership to communicate product strategy, gain alignment, and secure resources for key initiatives.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Influences and aligns corporate-wide research and development decisions with corporate vision and strategy.
- Advise and influence business unit executives corporate-wide on revenue and profit maximizing pricing, pricing strategy and key account revenue structure.
- In conjunction with competitive intelligence personnel, advises senior executives on competitors, mega-trends, strategic threats and industry inflection points.
- Defines and disseminates strategy methodology utilized at all levels of the corporation, including business units.
- As a visible and respected industry thought leader, represents FIS in industry press, with equity and industry analysts, industry associations, at industry conferences, FIS conferences, strategic sales opportunities and senior executive meetings at key accounts.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in product strategy or management roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth management.
- Proven track record of leading successful product strategies and managing complex product portfolios.
- Experience with FIS products such as Global Plus, Addvantage, Charlotte, WealthWare, and TrustDesk is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of wealth management platforms and their integration into broader financial systems.
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools, product management methodologies, and market analysis techniques.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics for product development and decision-making.
- Leadership and Communication:
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex product strategies to diverse audiences.
- High level of emotional intelligence and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable product strategies.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and innovative approach.
- Partner and Business Development:
- Proven experience in identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strong business development acumen with a track record of acquiring new clients and expanding market presence.
- Rationalization Skills:
- Experience in product portfolio management and rationalization.
- Ability to streamline operations and drive cost efficiencies without compromising quality or client satisfaction.
- Other Skills:
- Sufficient intelligence, professional experience and interpersonal skills to successfully interact and collaborate with peers and the corporation’s most senior executives
- Fast learner with intellectual capacity to function in a highly complex global organization
- Analytical, disciplined, data-oriented decision maker and problem solver
- Bias toward decisive action
- Fair amount of strategy, pricing, portfolio management, competitive intelligence and primary research experience, preferably in the financial services technology industry
- Good understanding of FIS products and services, banking technology, payments technology and at least one banking discipline
- Skill to create and explain complex financial models that support executive decision-making
- Experience with solution-based selling to banking executives
- Experience with both acquisitions and divestitures, preferably in the financial services technology industry
- Ability to analyze market and clients' business needs and determine related requirements
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and management across technical and business functions across FIS and client or partner organizations
- Thorough knowledge of corporate policies and procedures

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $202,560.00 - $340,310.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
