Our Client was founded in 1991, went public in 1996 and is a leader in the Supply Chain Software space, being named one of the World's Best Companies by Time Magazine in 2024! They are looking for a high energy VP / Director of Sales. Your team of (6-8) Account Executives will be selling Supply Chain Management Software. You need to have (5-10+) years experience managing a Sales Team selling Enterprise Supply Chain Software into the Fortune 2000 to be considered for this role.
The VP / Director of Sales needs to be located in the Northeast (Boston, New York or Philadelphia Metro, preferably) and will be developing a plan to Drive $MM in SCM new sales. You bring years of Sales Management experience in the Supply Chain Software space, lots of Energy and enjoy Spending Time in the Field w/ your AE's Closing Business!
If you have Built & Managed Sales Teams in the Enterprise Supply Chain Software Space for companies like: Blue Yonder, Coupa, Dassault Systemes, Descartes Systems, Epicor, E2open, HighJump, JAGGAER, JDA, Logility, Logiwa, Manhattan Associates or their competitors, we would like to speak with you!
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a plan for your Sales Team to drive $MM in new sales, including Target Markets (Existing & New).
- Manage existing Sales Team (6-8) AE's, with $1M-$2 Quotas.
- Expand your Sales Team, Manage the Recruiting, Hiring, Development and Performance of your AE's.
- Create new Territories and/or Verticals.
- Manage Annual Enhancements to the Compensation Plan.
- With the help of a Sales Ops: Lead, Manage On-Boarding Education, Sales Training, Pipeline Reports and Dashboards.
- Report on Revenue Growth and Sales Activity to Senior Management.
- Support your AE's including: Prospecting Skills, Developing Presentations, Closing Strategy & Account Management!
- Insure your Sales Team Maintains an Accurate Pipeline of all Opportunities, Contacts & Account History in Salesforce.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- (5-10+) years of Successful Sales Management experience in the Enterprise SCM Software space.
- Proven ability to Hire, Train and Retain High Performing AE's.
- Experience with Salesforce and Best Practices in Standard Sales Technology.
- High capacity for Learning and Understanding different Business Models.
- Tenacious, Persuasive & Passionate in achieving consistently High Levels of Objective Success.
- Highly Motivated, Self-Starter w/ strong Business Acumen & Negotiation Skills.
- Strong understanding of the Enterprise Supply Chain Software space!
- A strong desire to be In Front of Clients, Helping Your Team Close Business!
- High Energy individual, Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Experience in the Supply Chain Software Market required!
- Fun to be Around w/ a Strong Sense of Humor!
Base Salary: $200,000.00 - $220,000,00
Total OTE: $400,000.00 - $440,000.00, No Cap + Stock + Complete Benefits Package + Full Expenses (Corporate Card + Mileage) + Upward Mobility + Perks!
Locations: Northeast (Greater Boston, New York or Philadelphia Areas)
