Within the first 45 days:
- From 1-1 and side-by-side shadowing with the sale department and supporting functions, has a foundational understanding of current sales processes and has been able to successfully close deals within the current structure as well as utilizing their sales skillset.
- Has analyzed activity data across the existing Sales Team to know key strengths and utilizes this data to introduce streamlined approaches to the sales process.
- Begin deeper analysis of the breadth of sales data available to help begin to inform short-term and long-term strategy plans.
Within the next 3 months and ongoing:
- Begin sharing monthly reports with the CEO and Sales team on data insights, sales strategy, progress, and future plans, highlighting impacts on goals and KPIs.
- Is conducting weekly meetings with the sales team to build upon the team culture, sharing ideas amongst the team, and sharing painpoints for the group to share suggestions to help others. Has hired an additional 10 Sales Representatives to the team.
- Is reviewing forecast models with the CEO monthly to project and plan based on how these models impact the company’s ability to grow and scale; is providing strategic insights and ideas to help progress and actualize these models.
Within the next 6-9 months and ongoing:
- Is seen as a reliable mentor and coach whenever needed; is willing to join sales meetings, provide coaching, being generous with their time to discuss the right strategy / approach a Sales Representative wants to review, and is a part of any development or performance management conversations where needed.
- Is tracking and reporting progress on the sales plan to the CEO and Sales team; has been able to fully implement pieces of the sales strategy with measure outcomes reported on, successes, opportunities to pivot and change for a different outcome based on learnings, etc. Demonstrates the ability to learn and adapt sales plans.
- Is on track to hire additional Sales Representatives to the team based on workforce planning and growth goals established with the CEO.
- Is conducting ongoing sales training to all team members informally on a weekly or biweekly basis during 1-1s and has created a regular training cadence. Shows diligence in holding others accountable for assigned sales activities and new policies, and procedures.
Within the next 12 months and ongoing:
- By 12 months, the sales team is exceeding monthly quota expectations, closing over 35 new accounts per month with the built-out sales team. Is meeting with the CEO to continue to increase DentalQore’s market share.
- By 18 months, has a high performing sales team consisting of ~40 Sales Representatives, closing 100 accounts per month.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience within the digital marketing, advertising services, and/or SaaS industry, selling a long-term platform management service required
- 5+ years of business development and/or sales leadership experience, building and managing a team of 15+ required
- Proven experience as a change agent; with a strong ability to build trust and respect to lead and manage teams through implementing new processes and generating new ideas a must
- Demonstrated ability to execute at a strategic level and create plans to achieve long-term growth goals required
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities required
- Demonstrated proficiency to recruit, develop, train and grow a high-performing sales team capable of supporting future growth required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field required
- 5+ years’ experience in the marketing services or SaaS industry, specifically medical services and/or healthcare highly preferred
