We’re seeking a VP of Sales, Brand Partnerships to join our team. This newly created position reports to the Sr. VP of Marketing and Digital Media and will be responsible for managing the revenue and growth of AXS.com’s strategic partnerships. The core responsibility is to target industry verticals that align with AXS’s core business of live entertainment and create partnerships that result in new revenue channels. The successful candidate will be established in Sales and Business Development and have a track record of fostering and closing multi-year strategic partnerships. This is an individual contributor position and the right person will already have contacts with industry leaders and decision makers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop integration opportunities for brands by leveraging AXS’s core digital assets, including e-commerce, audience data, custom content, live event activations, web and mobile assets
- Identify pipeline of industry verticals to target, and create innovative sales materials to define sponsorship and integration opportunities
- Develop a go-to-market plan for specific industry verticals
- Maximize revenue potential for new and existing partners
- Partner with Product and Advertising Operations teams to develop sales opportunities
- Partner with Sr. Executive management and Revenue Operations on revenue forecasting
- Support long-term strategic partners with reporting, value attribution, and driving renewals
- Cultivate new partner relationships to ensure sponsor revenue growth
- Negotiate complex deals which require collaboration from multiple departments
What you'll bring to the table:
- 10+ years of sales experience within the digital, e-commerce space
- Proven track record of closing deals and accomplishing sales goals
- Strong experience in developing strategic partnership and integrated advertising solutions for clients
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Data-driven with the ability to articulate value propositions through data
- Experience in live entertainment or e-commerce is a plus
