VP of Quality, Inventory Control, and Floor Production
An ADP client is currently seeking
an experienced individual to be our next VP of Quality,
Inventory Control, and Floor Production for Electronics and join
our team in our Medley, FL 33178 location. This is
NOT a remote role, will need to report to the head office.
Who We Are:
We manufacture broadband amplifier complete stations “drop-ins,”
and accessories - enabling broadband operators worldwide the ability to reduce
customer service interruption and time-on-site for the technician while
simultaneously eliminating the need for full-splicing when replacing modules.
What you’ll do:
Core duties and
responsibilities include the following.
- Develop and execute a forward-looking engineering strategy
aligned with Company’s overall goals and vision to be the best in Radio
Frequency (RF) and broadband amplifiers manufacturer in the industry. - Oversees
the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality
standards are consistently met. - Identifies
and shares training opportunities for manufacturing staff to build, improve
skills and minimize any production employee errors. - Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary manufacturing team,
fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. - Works closely with manufacturing leadership team to drive
innovation in materials, and manufacturing processes to maintain a competitive
edge in the market. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design,
manufacturing, and production, to ensure Broadband continues to bring existing
products & new products to market successfully, within budget, and aligned
to product launch timelines. - Work closely with manufacturing teams to align engineering
processes with production capabilities, streamlining the transition from design
to manufacturing. - Identifies any
bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and
other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays. - Develops and implements policies and procedures related to inventory
control, production planning and scheduling with a goal to maximize efficiency,
optimize workflow and limit material shortages. - Stringent quality control processes in new product development,
new product introduction and prototype, new product final production. - Aligns engineering initiatives with budgetary
considerations, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on
product quality or innovation. - Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
to identify opportunities for technological advancements in manufacturing.
Bring new innovative A.I., robotic manufacturing concept, Automation streamline,
Firm, and software manufacturing introduction of new products. - Assists chief operating officer with long-range operating
goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology. - Performs other related duties as assigned by President, or
CEO.
Our Perfect Candidate
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, especially
Electronic Engineering. - Must have at least 8+ years of manufacturing
experience as a Direct Floor Production Leader in electronics or SMT (Surface-Mount
Technology) is a MUST. - Experienced with Floor Production and leading
manufacturing, root-cause problems, and finding their solutions by aligning culture,
engaging the team to the company’s values is a MUST. - Experienced with examining the manufacturing improve
processes and operational techniques including preparatory, initial, and
follow-up phases of quality control & inventory. - Experienced with equalizers/reverse, fiber
optics, amplifiers, automatic gain control, attenuators, signal directors,
splitters etc. - Strong technical expertise in design,
materials and lead a group of SMT Engineers, Inspectors, Technicians, Assemblers. - Demonstrated success in bringing innovative
products to market. - MSO, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Certifications, or
similar a plus. - Experienced with AOI machinery, monitored, and improve
production processes. - Good knowledge of RF circuit fundamentals and advanced
design techniques. - Experienced with building project schedules using tools
such as Microsoft Project. - Experienced working with electronics manufacturing and
design service suppliers. - Familiar with software development models to integrate RF
Amplifiers with 1.8 GHz Smart Amplifier platforms. - Good working knowledge to develop automated test software
applications. - Working knowledge of board level design, components, and
CATV system design. - Ability to instruct and guide engineers, manufacturing
facilities, and assemblers in implementing RF products. - Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
Company Offers:
- Annual salary range is $135k to $150k+ depending on experience
