This position marks an important evolution in the company’s transformation from distributor of medical supplies to a care management platform supporting the comprehensive needs of our customers living with chronic conditions. This role is responsible for building upon our foundational work to design a solution for health plans and employers that delivers a care management solution wrapped around the organic relationship we build with customers sourcing their medical supplies from us.
Opportunity Overview:
The VP of Product Development is responsible for planning and execution of a product or product line throughout all phases of the product development life cycle. The Product Director gathers and prioritizes potential solutions to customer business problems and patient needs. She or he defines a product vision that aligns to CCS’ strategic objectives and complements the existing product portfolio.

- Clearly define product strategy, positioning, and pricing approach for new/enhanced products or product features informed by market and customer insights
- Leverage product development best practices and deliverables to align product scope and definition, inform sales and marketing strategy, and execute operational and technical development plans
- Engage cross-functional team in collaboration on all product activities and deliverables through all phases of the product development life cycle
- Centralize communication regarding product development scope, deliverables, timelines, assumptions, issues, risks and mitigation plans across the product development team
- Create a performance measurement plan and visibility to ensure that all financial, operational and clinical goals are met
- Develop continuous improvement plans for products post-commercialization
- Facilitate the prioritization of products and product features on the product roadmap
Experience and Education Requirements:
- 7-10 years experience in management consulting and/or healthcare product or solution development
- BA in business or health care related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education required; MBA or MHA preferred
- Experience managing a team in a complex, transforming, customer-focused business environment
- Strategic thinking skills with deep understanding of product development in a health care industry setting
- Superior communication skills, executive presence and cross-functional leadership
- Execution experience across the product development life cycle through ideation, development, and commercial launch with a focus on customer value and solution economics
- Ability to juggle business, customer and technical perspectives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
