About the Job
The Vice President of Operations will lead the operational strategy for Alpaca Chicken, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all locations. This role is pivotal in driving growth, enhancing the customer experience, and optimizing operational performance.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all food safety and quality standards are met across all locations, maintaining Alpaca Chicken’s reputation for excellence.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor district managers and store leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
Training and Development: Design and implement training programs to enhance team skills and ensure adherence to operational standards.
Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply chain operations, including vendor relationships and inventory management, to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients.
Financial Oversight: Manage the operational budget, monitoring costs and profitability to drive financial success.
Customer Experience: Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to enhance the guest experience and respond to customer feedback.
Compliance: Ensure all locations adhere to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Operational Excellence: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance speed of service, efficiency, and overall guest satisfaction.
Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement technology solutions (e.g., POS systems, online ordering platforms) to streamline operations and improve the customer experience.
Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to ensure business continuity and effective responses to operational challenges.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present operational reports to the executive team, outlining performance metrics, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, bookkeeping, and training, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Innovation and Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to introduce innovative concepts that keep the brand competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the QSR industry, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in operational software and tools (e.g., POS systems, inventory management software).
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
