The Vice President of HR will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on retention, compensation, compliance, performance management, employee relations, recruitment and HR strategy/best practices. In this role, VP of Human Resources will report to the CEO. We have 70 employees currently. Start up experience and the ability to work in smaller to midsized companies would be ideal.
The Vice President of Human Resources is to oversee its HR function and work closely with leaders throughout the organization. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in using the latest HR tools and have a strong grip over HR programs and policies. Additionally, we would like an expert with 10-15 years of experience in formulating, devising, and building successful teams over their career. Technology company background would be a preference.
The VP of HR would be responsible for managing the existing team and hiring additional support as needed. We' re looking for leaders, strategic thinkers, effective people managers, and problem-solvers. Remarkable communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are two critical elements of this role. If you think you have what it takes, we' d love to hear from you. As someone with years of proven experience, we will rely on your input to make the HR Department and the organization as a whole successful.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’ s degree required; Master’ s Degree desired
- A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant HR experience required.
- Experience working in a public company preferred.
- PHR or SPHR Preferred
- Led/been involved in significant change management initiatives in prior roles.
- Ability to think strategically and objectively and effectively translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to develop solid and positive professional relationships with senior leadership, subordinates, and peers based on trust, candor, and respect.
