About the Job
Our client, a leader in the footwear industry, has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Finance. In partnership with the CFO, CEO, and executive leadership team, the role will develop the strategy to ensure that the company has the financial resources needed to achieve its current and future goals, while mitigating financial and operational risk.Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the development of annual operating, capital, and project budgets, and report on the same
- Develop and implement best practices and tools to foster an agile organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, and cross-functional team communications and workflows
- Assist with the global SAP-ERP implementation, support global expansion, and aid in business transformation as a strategic partner to the Senior Management Team
- Assist the CFO and CEO with the preparation of financial reports/decks that are presented at Board of Director meetings
- Additional responsibilities as required
- Several years of demonstrated, relevant Financial Planning & Analysis experience with both technical and management proficiency in operations of a global manufacturing organization
- BA or MBA in Finance or Accounting required, other additional relevant advanced degree and/or certification, such as a CFA or CPA, preferred
- Use of collaborative and facilitative approach and the flexibility to work with a broad range of cultures, personalities, and work styles
- Professional demeanor and willingness to cooperatively participate on a multi-national team
- Ability to demonstrate the greatest level of flexibility in an environment with frequently changing priorities required to meet the needs of internal and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to prepare clear, accurate, well-organized written financial reports and to communicate verbally in an effective and concise manner
- Ability to recognize risk areas and material issues arising in the business
- Ability to structure and lead complex corporate projects with tenacity, decisiveness, and diplomacy
- Passion for new challenges and creating better ways of doing things, so that higher levels of financial performance are achieved
