The VP of Media Planning will oversee the development, implementation, and measurement of effective media plans for our diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive media strategies and plans that align with client objectives and budgets.
- Lead and inspire a team of media planners and buyers, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and accountability.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify opportunities for integrated media campaigns that drive engagement and ROI.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape, staying ahead of trends and innovations that can be leveraged for client success.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of media plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
- Develop strong relationships with media vendors, negotiating rates and placements to maximize client budgets.
- Work closely with the client services team to ensure media plans align with overall campaign strategies and objectives.
- Provide thought leadership in the area of media planning, sharing insights and best practices with the team and the wider organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in media planning, with a focus on integrated media campaigns.
- Experience in the pharma industry, with a deep understanding of HCP media strategies.
- Proven track record of leading successful media teams.
- Strong understanding of all media channels, including digital, print, broadcast, and outdoor.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex media strategies to clients and team members.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for staying ahead of media trends and innovations.
- Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools.
