POSITION OVERVIEW
The Vice President of Information Technology will bring vision and innovation to Kate Farms and lead our IT department, responsible for developing and implementing technology strategies that support the company's goals and objectives to ensure best-in-class technology operations. We are looking for a leader who can build a strategic vision for the future of IT at Kate Farms, and who is willing to deeply engage across the enterprise to bring that vision to life, leaning on experiences scaling and maturing IT in high-growth organizations. Must have a deep understanding of Information Technology trends, specifically related to building and capitalizing on data assets across the enterprise while using technology to enable scale across the enterprise.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
o Strategic Planning & Governance
o Provide vision, leadership, strategies, and solutions on all enterprise-wide IT issues.
o Develop and execute the company's Information Technology strategic plan, aligned with our long-term company strategy.
- Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on IT investments.
o Data Architecture & Management
o Design and manage the future of our data environment with scalability, to help build data assets across the enterprise (commercial, operations, finance) that create differentiated value for Kate Farms.
o Provide leadership in using this data through analytics and democratizing data through analytics platforms, in partnership with our Commercial Operations & Insights team.
o AI & Emerging Technologies
o Pilot and implement AI/ML technologies to increase sales and marketing effectiveness, and to support more individualized customer engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
o Implement AI to create process efficiencies across Finance and Operations.
- Technology Architecture
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure (e.g., Azure, CRM, ERP, Shopify), and build integration strategies, including EDI, to ensure seamless communications between systems / platforms.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and align with our technology architecture.
- IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system admin, network management, hardware, reliability, and security of IT systems / services that enable a distributed workforce and two corporate office locations.
- Manage a helpdesk model that delivers internal support consistent with our company culture and brand pillars.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals and support diverse hiring and related initiatives to meet company goals.
- Manage the IT budget and relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Ensure data security and privacy across the organization and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology in increasingly senior leadership roles.
- Experience within a regulated industry with similar operating models (e.g., medical nutrition, biopharma, consumer goods, nutrition)
- Solid understanding of and experience with data architecture, management, IT governance and compliance.
- A proven track record of successfully driving IT initiatives and projects at increasingly senior levels of the organization.
- Strong business process knowledge, with deep experience across one or more of the following (commercial, operations, finance).
- Excellent knowledge of cloud-based technologies and infrastructure.
- A strong commitment to company mission and values.
- Ability to work independently, strategically and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

This position will work in a home/office environment with occasional trips to the corporate office or other meeting locations. Requires 10% travel.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component that together comprise the On-Target-Earnings (OTE). Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of equity.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest salary range we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of background verification.
$206,301- $260,000 USD
For full-time salaried or hourly workers, our total rewards package also include the option to enroll in a company-matched 401k plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive a generous PTO benefit with a starting accrual of 15 days per year (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure), two weeks of paid “Refresh” leave, 80 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
