This leadership role oversees commercial lending operations, focusing on risk management, loan underwriting, and rebuilding the loan production office. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute commercial lending strategies for portfolio growth, operational efficiency, and risk management.
• Oversee a commercial portfolio, including owner-occupied real estate, construction, C&I, and agricultural loans.
• Foster strong member relationships and engage with the community to promote credit union services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and implement effective risk management practices.
• Participate in the Executive Loan Committee to analyze and structure complex loan requests.
• Drive innovation and streamline lending operations through new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance member experience and achieve organizational goals.
• Manage vendor relationships to optimize underwriting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of commercial lending experience with proven leadership and portfolio growth.
• Expertise in credit analysis, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities and financial acumen.
