Role Summary/Purpose:
This role will help build and execute business strategies across the Outdoors business, with primary focus on dealer engagement, evolving the Sport vertical and Outdoors Card and supporting key initiatives. The role will work closely with the SVP of Outdoors and with key finance, marketing, analytics, field, BD and product contacts to design and drive strategic initiatives that foster ongoing growth and profitability.

Essential Responsibilities:
+ Understand and execute overall strategy & portfolio dynamics in order to develop and support growth strategies and action plans.
+ Oversee compliance / regulatory matters related to portfolio, including dealer training requirements
+ Monitor progress to program goals & proactively identify areas of opportunity.
+ Lead operating reviews & portfolio performance reviews for the Outdoors team
+ Provide leadership to all strategic program projects and initiatives.
+ Assess key portfolio performance metrics to determine optimal strategies for dealer activation and utilization.
+ Support & sell in to OEM/ dealers (s), new initiatives & marketing programs/products.
+ Provide value added analysis & reporting to evaluate & drive program performance.
+ Partner with Underwriting/Finance to facilitate quarterly pricing reviews and negotiate contract renewals, amendments and CRP approvals when necessary.
+ Identify & implement programs to enhance profitability and reduce costs.
+ _Responsible for the Sport vertical & Outdoors Card product_
+ _Liaison between the Outdoors Commercial Team and shared field resources to drive awareness and engagement with SYF at the dealer level_
+ _Lead, collaborate and execute dealer communication plans_
+ Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of equivalent work experience in the Financial Services field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of client management experience or retail card experience, including leading teams.
+ Minimum of 5 years' project management experience.
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering formal communications to either senior business leaders or key external business partners
Desired Characteristics:
+ Experience working with fragmented dealer and OEM clients
+ Project management experience within the financial services or Powersports industry.
+ Secured Installment and/or retail credit card experience.
+ Demonstrated prior experience involving contract negotiations, competitive pricing, business planning and P&L management.
+ Strong marketing, creative and analytic skills
+ Proven ability to influence corporate decision makers; strong negotiating skills
+ Ability to demonstrate innovation and creative approaches to business needs
+ Proven ability to work independently
Grade/Level: 14
The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
+ You must be 18 years or older
+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
