Position Overview:
The VP of IT will play a crucial role in analyzing our current IT systems and setting the strategic IT direction for the company. This executive leadership position is designed for a strategic thinker who can make key IT decisions to support business growth. Initially focused on strategy and oversight, this role is poised for evolution into a CIO position as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing IT systems and infrastructure, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
- Develop and implement a strategic IT roadmap that aligns with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead vendor management, ensuring strong partnerships and the delivery of high-quality services.
- Oversee the management of IT functions, including potential future responsibilities for other IT operations, as the company expands.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate IT strategies with business initiatives, driving efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Proven experience in IT leadership roles, with a track record of strategic planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, with the ability to guide the adoption of new technologies.
- Experience in vendor management and building effective third-party relationships.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the capacity to manage and inspire teams in a dynamic and growing environment.
- Strategic thinker with a business-oriented mindset, capable of making decisions that drive business growth and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with business managers, stakeholders, and external partners effectively.
- This role is strategic in nature, focusing on decision-making and leadership rather than hands-on technical work. The successful candidate will be a key driver of IT strategy and business growth, leveraging technology to achieve business objectives.
