Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a financial association seeking a VP of Accreditation & Certification to oversee programs and committees. This position requires a strategic visionary with the capacity to reimagine and elevate programs, along with the ability to manage the functionality and regulations for certification and accreditation.
This position requires to work 1 week/month on site plus as business requires and must live in one of the following states if outside of the DC metro area: AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MS, NC, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, WV. Any travel required to meet on site work requirement is considered normal commute and the responsibility of the employee.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Background Profile:

Responsibilities:
- Lead staff and committees in the design, development, implementation, and administration of programs
- Maintain schedules and review competency and technical standards for certification programs
- Manage relationships with banking department training directors so ensure alignment with bank agencies
- Manage business model and billing for programs in support of Chief Learning Officer and Finance Department
- Lead submission and approval of agency/courses to satisfy CE requirements
- Supervise processes associated with awarding certification documents
- Evaluate to ensure accreditation program is up to date with standards and policies
- Leverage data and report on areas on concern to standards committee
- Ensure alignment of accreditation priorities, states supervisory, and licensing priorities
- Implement best practices for recruiting, training, and supporting team members
- Manage team of 3 to maximize performance, delegate responsibility effectively, and provide timely feedback
- Develop and oversee budget
- Oversee negotiation and procurement of vendors and external resources
- SME for technology related business cases, including LMS
- Develop strategic plan aligned to mission and identify delivery and management system opportunities
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Advanced degree highly desired in related field to adult education, instructional design, or education measurement
- Financial services industry experience preferred
- 12-15 years+ of progressive experience managing credentialing, accreditation, financial supervisory programs, or similar
- Knowledge of high level adult education and training programs
- Experience with education delivery technologies and education programs
- Experience with strategic level functions and ability to work at all levels
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Must disclose conflicts of interest in financial services companies

This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range: Salary $173,000.00 to $200,000.00
