Key Responsibilities of the VP of Accounting:

• Lead, manage, and mentor the accounting team, providing direction and support.
• Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate financial reports while ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to optimize financial processes.
• Offer strategic financial insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications of the VP of Accounting:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA/CPA Preferred
• 8+ years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Salary: $120,000–$155,000
