Key Accountabilities
- Oversees design, testing and deployment of the program infrastructure.
- Builds relationships with QA, Ops and Development organizations to ensure smooth and successful delivery of solutions to production.
- Builds relationships with Product, Business, Marketing and Sales teams to determine requirements for the success of the team.
- Ensures the delivery of the end-to-end solution supporting new products and features on time, within budget and with high quality.
- Demonstrates technical expertise in the application of new technologies and system development methodologies.
- Develops requirements to be used by the vendor community to develop solutions to meet Company application needs.
- Evaluates various architectural solutions and implementations.
- Identifies trends, services and/or capabilities that may be beneficial to various product offerings.
- Participates consultatively in the testing and certification process.
- Keeps current with technology developments in the industry.
- Establishes and maintains productive relationships with peer organizations and Equipment and Software vendors.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field; or, equivalent work experience.
- 5 - 8 years of IT work experience in Infrastructure/ Network Environments performing network engineering (hardware and/or software), design, planning and implementation.
- 6+ years of Digital Network Architecture (DNA), Network and VoIP experience.
- Experience with SIP, IMS, Broadsoft, Clients, Red Hat (Linux), Networking and Security.
- Expertise with OSPF is required.
- Previous communications and/or carrier experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Cisco is a plus.
- Strong technical documentation and diagramming skills.
- This is a contract role and will mots likely require a F2F interview to showcase design skills
