Job Summary
The Brand Marketing Coordinator role will support the Director of Marketing in executing aggressive marketing plans designed to catapult Vitamin A into an all-encompassing California lifestyle brand. This role will be key in orchestrating the many facets of DTC and Wholesale marketing plans.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support
- Supports the Marketing Director, DTC, and Creative Team in managing the marketing calendar, catalog and collection launch timelines, seasonal marketing documents, deliverables, and deadlines across all channels.
- Collaborates with internal teams including, but not limited to, Marketing, eCommerce, Wholesale, Design/Merchandising, Production/Ops, Finance, Freelance Contributors, Agencies Partners, and Wholesale to gather requirements, set expectations, and deliver against deadlines.
- Partners with the Product Team to secure tracking of new product launches + pre-orders
- Manage PR and creative sample sets. Assist in cleaning, organizing, and transporting photo shoot sets and sending/receiving PR requests.
- Leads Packaging/Printed Materials process with Production/Ops team for all printed materials and custom promotional products (including GWP, totes, DTC inserts, packaging, influencer mailers, etc.) as well as wholesale print needs (retail posters, booth graphics)
- Coordinates and delivers any relevant assets for media buys + brand partners, as defined by the Marketing Director
- Oversees sample placement process for Marketing + Influencer orders
- Oversees 1% FTP partnership and requirements
- Event coordination and support as needed
- Supports Customer Service not limited to providing launch information, calendar updates, special events, and customer contacts/resolution
Asset Management
- Develops, produces, and distributes all post-production brand assets with third-party vendors and internally for approval and hand-off.
- Uploads imagery to Joor.
- Briefs Copywriter and coordinates deliverables for all Newsletters, brand marketing, and product copy needs.
- Proof-reads and checks the quality of work on all deliverables before disseminating to teams.
- Works with Site Manager to develop and create custom Landing Pages and assortments for Newsletters, Social Campaigns and/or Brand Activations based on direction from Marketing, e-commerce, and Merchandising Teams.
- Owns the organization of all brand assets for external and internal Dropbox folders, and documents including master copy doc, content folders, flats, eCommerce, campaigns, etc. Responds to image requests from DTC, wholesale, PR, distributors, and other partners
Sales Tools
- Gathers and coordinates Wholesale Marketing support requests
- Updates launch calendar, milestones, and feedback for seasonal sales tools, including but not limited to catalog, Joor, tradeshow + showroom needs, and product launch one-sheets
- Gathers and maintains all important Wholesale show and meeting dates. Adds dates to Marketing and DTC team calendars
- Prints, assembles, and distributes all Marketing decks, materials, etc.
- Distributes Wholesale selling tools, guides, sales meeting decks and materials
Budget
- Manage marketing invoices
- Manage marketing P&L tracker
- Manage marketing budget
Reporting
- Manage weekly communications email highlighting marketing wins to the larger team
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
Qualifications:
- Position requires 1-2 years' experience in Marketing or related field
- College/University graduate
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Digitally savvy
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft applications
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Self-starter, pro-active, action-oriented with high initiative and drive
- Thrives in fast-paced, growth-stage organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, comfortable with ambiguity
- Passionate about sustainability and swimwear a plus
