Location: Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center, Burlington, WI
Position: Full-Time, Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Hourly Rate: Up to $23.00 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vital Signs Technician to join our team at Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center, located in Burlington, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately taking and recording vital signs of our patients, ensuring high-quality care and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a Medical Assistant, with a strong focus on customer service and excellent technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs including Systolic and Diastolic BP, resting pulse, respirations, temperature, and oxygen saturation.
- Use Carease equipment to measure vital signs, ensuring accurate readings.
- If abnormal readings are found. Vital Signs Technician will be responsible for reporting this information to nursing leadership.
- Upload vital sign data into the Point Click Care (PCC) system.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients while performing vital sign assessments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to facility protocols.
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in skilled nursing, is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in taking and recording vital signs with at least one year of experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Familiarity with Carease and Point Click Care (PCC) systems is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay, $23.00 per hour based on experience.
