Salary/Hourly Rate:
$80k-90k
Position Overview:
The Visual Merchandising Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing creative merchandising strategies aligned with the brand’s identity. This hands-on position involves collaboration with leadership, frequent interaction with retail and showroom teams, and occasional travel to key store locations.
Responsibilities of the Visual Merchandising Manager:
- Collaborate with the VP of Creative and Design to establish and maintain visual merchandising standards across retail stores and wholesale showrooms.
- Develop, source, and implement innovative concepts for table settings, window displays, and seasonal themes.
- Conduct regular store visits (in person or virtually) to update merchandising and displays.
- Partner with store and sales managers to optimize merchandising strategies, ensuring alignment with the brand identity and customer experience.
- Assist with special events and wholesale showroom setups.
- Monitor budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions within approved parameters.
- Utilize creative strategies, such as planograms, to streamline store layouts and reduce travel needs.
Qualifications of the Visual Merchandising Manager:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in visual merchandising; luxury or home goods industry preferred.
- Strong creativity and innovation, paired with practical execution skills.
- Familiarity with fabrics, home textiles, and space planning is a plus.
- Excellent color sense and design illustration skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and translate data into actionable merchandising strategies.
