Amazon Stores Talent Acquisition Marketing (TAM) is seeking an exceptional Visual Designer and Copywriter to create compelling creative solutions for Amazon Stores candidates. Amazon Stores TAM builds recruitment marketing campaigns, employer brand content, and candidate experiences through direct resources and recruiter enablement tools. You will report to the Senior Art Director and own design and copywriting project implementations that require that you interpret brand style guides and create solutions that scale across businesses and regions.
You will partner across cross-functional marketing and talent acquisition stakeholders to provide design consultation, communicate creative strategy, craft engaging messaging, and provide thoughtful feedback that leads to customer-obsessed solutions. You apply best practices and are able to support your creative decisions with clear rationale. You are able to deliver tactics that are empathetic, accessible, and inclusive of all customers. You will bring a keen eye for detail, customer-obsessed visual standards, a self-starter attitude, and an excellent ability to communicate design concepts to non-designers.
Your work will have immediate and significant impact, influencing creative strategies that reach Amazon Stores candidates globally. This diverse role spans multiple creative disciplines, including branding, graphic design, copywriting, print and web design, social media, illustration, and motion design.

Key job responsibilities
* Design, concept, and deliver creative assets including, but not limited to, static and dynamic banner ads, social media graphics, marketing messaging, printed and digital event materials, brand components, website UI assets, illustration, and infographics
* Provide and incorporate feedback, both giving and receiving constructive criticism to improve creative output
* Interpret and apply Amazon brand guidelines to create solutions that meet brand standards while addressing customer needs
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting ambitious deadlines
* Write compelling marketing copy in both English and Spanish that captures attention and clearly communicates the Amazon Stores employer brand
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional design experience
- An online portfolio that demonstrates excellence in the principles of design, color theory, typography, and graphics, demonstrated through design concepts, case studies, and mockups
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to write compelling marketing copy in a brand voice that both captures attention and communicates clearly
- Strong time management and organizational skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity, self-prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in participating in design critiques, providing and applying feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish language
- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising or social media solutions
- Experience in motion design or animation
- Experience in creating templates or design tools
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements with measurable impact
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $69,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $148,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
