Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Develop and implement personalized intervention plans based on assessment results.
Provide individual and group counseling to address various psychological and emotional challenges faced by students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create and implement strategies that support students' educational and mental health needs.
Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
Offer consultation and training to school staff on topics such as behavior management, mental health awareness, and effective teaching strategies.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Utilize telehealth platforms and other digital tools to deliver services and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.
Stay current with advancements in the field of school psychology and engage in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Valid Arizona School Psychologist certification.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in Arizona.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a school setting, preferably with experience in virtual or remote environments.
