About the Job
In this role, you will leverage the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies using innovative project management methods to leverage model technologies downstream throughout the design and construction process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and reviewing the final work of Level 1 and Level 2 personnel
- Meeting with project teams to finalize needs and establish labor budgets, workloads, priorities, responsibilities with Virtual Construction Specialist staff
- Facilitating online virtual collaboration meetings for project teams, field personnel, and owner review meetings
- Training construction management and field personnel regarding BIM/VDC utilization
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Strong understanding of cost control and cost management
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, construction terminology, and project team roles and responsibilities
- Strong understanding of field installations, particularly Structural and MEP systems
- Ability to organize and manage complex implementation tasks, establish and meet schedules and maintain focus on goals.
- Understanding of project workflows (schematic design, design development, construction documentation phases) and project management.
- Understanding of different needs of the delivery team (architects, engineers, estimators, project managers, and field staff).
- Proficiency with the following applications is required: Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Proficiency with the following applications is preferred: MS Office, AutoCAD, Synchro, Vico, Solibri, Tekla, Inventor, SolidWorks, 3D Studio Max, PhotoShop
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors’ Degree in AEC Technology (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) field
- 7+ years of relevant experience in AEC industry related to Building Information Modeling (BIM) / Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
