@properties Christie's International Real Estate, Chicago's #1 Real Estate brokerage, is looking for a talented Videographer & Editor responsible for producing high-quality videos for property listings, corporate projects, marketing campaigns, and company events. You will play a critical role in creating visually compelling content that showcases our properties and brand. The ideal candidate will have strong videography and editing skills, with experience in capturing the essence of properties for real estate marketing, as well as producing polished, professional videos for internal and external corporate use. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Knowledge of social media trends and short form video content is critical to the success of this role.

Duties

• Property Listing Video Shoots: Shoot dynamic, engaging videos that highlight the best features of residential real estate properties both in traditional wide format and vertical for social media. Editing property listing videos when not shooting.
• Corporate Video Shoots: Shoot corporate content, including internal communication videos, events, promotional pieces, and brand storytelling projects
• Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop unique concepts and approaches for video content that align with our company’s vision and goals
• Editing & Post-Production: Handle all aspects of post-production, including color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and final delivery
• Drone Footage: Capture aerial drone shots to enhance the visual appeal of properties (drone certification a must) as well as interior drone flying capabilities
• Client Interaction: Work closely with real estate agents on site to ensure they are feeling confident in their shoot. Ability to direct the agent on site to acquire better footage.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and manage camera, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure high-quality production standard
• Timely Delivery: Meet tight deadlines for various projects, balancing multiple shoots and editing timelines

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a videographer, ideally in real estate or corporate environments
• Strong portfolio showcasing listing videos, corporate projects, and creative visual storytelling
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, etc.)
• Experience with drone videography (FAA certification is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of lighting techniques, composition, and camera operation
• Experience in social media content creation (short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction from clients and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
• A passion for real estate and creating visually compelling content that tells a story
• Background in photography is a plus, but not required
• Degree in video production or a related field such as film, communication, or media studies
