Unique opportunity to be a part of one of the most established yacht dealer and brokerage firms in the United States. This role will allow you to cultivate your creative talents on multi-million dollar luxury boats and yachts. SI Yachts is looking for a talented, self-motivated, full-time videographer, content creator, and social media manager. This is a critical marketing role in the company that will help highlight the premium new yacht brands we carry, our clients’ brokerage boats, our industry-leading service department, some of the largest boating events/shows in the world, and the incredible team members that are here.
Responsibilities:
- Capture engaging video footage using combination of camera, drone, and mobile device
- Use engaging video captured to create unique and impactful Reels on our social media channels
- Work with sales & marketing on content calendar
- Partner with our manufacturers to capture content
- Post content multiple times each day on social media channels
- Stay current with any new manufacturer content
- Foster our client relationships by sharing and helping them to create content
- Create 2-3 minute business-oriented videos
- Stay current with social media best practices and trends
- Travel to boat shows and other events to capture footage and create content
- Be able to provide a monthly report of relevant performance indicators
- Use Canva or other graphic design software to create social media graphics, youtube video profile images, and more
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience managing a professional social media channel for a business
- At least 3 years of experience as a videographer
- Ability to work with the latest camera & sound equipment for social media video
- Operates own camera
- Experience with operating a drone is preferred
- Proficient with social media video editing through software (example CapCut) and/or Instagram/TikTok
- Drone experience and all required licenses/paperwork to operate it
- Ability to travel when needed
