We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Vice President of Talent Management to join our esteemed legal firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the talent management strategy of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire talent lifecycle, from talent acquisition and development to retention strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the best legal talent in the industry, contributing to our firm's success.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy that aligns with our firm's goals and objectives.
2. Oversee talent acquisition processes, ensuring we attract and hire top legal talent.
3. Design and implement talent development programs, including training, mentoring, and career development initiatives.
4. Develop effective talent retention strategies, including compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
5. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify talent gaps and develop strategies to fill them.
6. Monitor and analyze talent management metrics to assess the effectiveness of our strategies and make necessary adjustments.
7. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the firm.
8. Maintain knowledge of current trends and best practices in talent management within the legal industry.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to talent management.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in Talent Management or Talent Development, with a proven track record of driving transformational improvements in a high-growth environment.
Expertise in talent management, including leadership development, talent analytics, high-impact learning programs, performance management, and succession planning.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion best practices.
