Vice President, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Dallas, TX. Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the Firm’s software solutions in support of its global businesses. Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and thoughtful technology solutions leveraging both internal and open-source services. Requires: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years of experience with: Full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented C++ or Java enterprise applications within a Unix environment; programming technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka; Relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Sybase or Oracle; Micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Java, Spring, or other back-end technologies; and Database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.
