About the Job
As the Vice President/Senior Director of Outbound Sales at Xometry, you will be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing outbound sales team. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and achieving company objectives through effective sales strategies, team development, and customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and market trends
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to sales team members to ensure their success
- Set and manage sales quotas and performance metrics
- Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with customers
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in a marketplace
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools
- Strong understanding of sales analytics and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Proven ability to build and scale sales teams
- Experience with a variety of sales methodologies (e.g., solution selling, consultative selling)
