About the Job
As the Vice President of Revenue Operations, you will play a pivotal strategic leadership role focused on maximizing revenue and enhancing sales performance. This role involves steering the creation and implementation of the revenue strategy and overseeing its execution across comprehensive business processes and systems. The Revenue Operations team consists of six North America-based associates and a reporting/analysis team based in India (currently being established). This position demands a profound understanding of sales processes, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity for cross-functional collaboration to foster revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborative Strategy Formation:
Work closely with Sales Enablement, Marketing, and IT/Systems to develop and execute a revenue enablement plan, construct metric-driven strategies for sales funnel optimization, and align operating metrics with financial incentives.
Innovation and Strategy Development:
Develop strategies that align with organizational goals, identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track progress towards revenue targets.
Sales Infrastructure Leadership:
Oversee a Salesforce-based revenue infrastructure, ensuring that revenue tools enhance organizational success at individual and leadership levels.
Process Optimization:
Analyze and enhance sales processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness, implement best practices and standard methodologies across the sales lifecycle.
Revenue Performance Management:
Define performance metrics and benchmarks, provide coaching to sales leaders, and leverage data to identify trends and opportunities.
Business Partnering:
Develop analytic structures to support Revenue leadership in decision-making and provide detailed operational insights to executive leadership.
Who You Are
Experience and Skills:
You bring a proven track record with at least 15 years in leadership roles focused on sales enablement or similar areas.
A deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and technologies.
Strong analytical skills capable of interpreting complex sales data.
Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and execute complex initiatives.
Results-oriented, focused on driving revenue growth and meeting targets.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
