Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a hands-on VP of Sales – Oil & Gas Automation for our innovative technology automation client headquartered in Texas. The role is REMOTE with up to 30% travel within North America as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire and develop new upstream and midstream oil & gas customer prospect opportunities for the company to meet annual revenue and growth targets
- Establishing and managing executive and operations management relationships and a deep understanding of clients business challenges
- Playing a lead role in sales process on targeted prospects
- Leading negotiations with clients including sale and subscription sales options
- Dealing with sophisticated products requiring a knowledge of data analytics and company’s product offerings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred
- 10+ years of professional experience in combination of oil & gas sales and/or operations with commercial experience in Technology Solutions (Oil & Gas sector clients)
- Strong technical operations and process knowledge (upstream and midstream) required
- Experience with Technology Sales to the oil & gas marketplace required
- Extensive current executive / operations management / procurement management level contacts within oil & gas upstream and midstream clients in North America required
- Experience with oilfield chemical sales and product life cycle understanding within the oil & gas sector preferred
BASE SALARY OF $150K - $170K DOE PLUS COMMISSION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE
