We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven professional to join our team as a Permanent Vice President of Sales. This is an amazing opportunity for a seasoned sales executive with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our business by developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives that align with our company's goals and vision. This role requires extensive experience in ecommerce, Salesforce, KPI, operations, and Hubspot.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market.
3. Establish and maintain key customer relationships, and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
4. Use data-driven decision-making to understand market trends, identify new opportunities, and drive sales growth.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
6. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and sales efficiency.
7. Utilize Salesforce, Hubspot, and other CRM systems to track sales metrics, generate reports, and provide insights on sales performance.
8. Conduct regular sales forecast to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
9. Develop and implement effective sales training programs for the sales team.
10. Provide strategic leadership to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
3. Extensive experience in ecommerce, Salesforce, KPI, operations, and Hubspot.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective coaching, fostering teamwork, and clearly defining objectives and expectations.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
6. Excellent understanding of CRM systems and best practices.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify trends, make decisions, and drive sales performance.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate the company's vision, values, and strategic objectives to the sales team and stakeholders.
9. Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
10. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on improving customer satisfaction and retention.
