Job Description:
We are seeking a Vice President of Revenue Cycle to oversee and direct all revenue cycle operations. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to optimize revenue cycle processes, enhance financial performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue cycle goals and improve the overall client experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize revenue cycle processes and improve financial performance.
Communicate revenue cycle performance expectations to staff and work closely with leadership to manage day-to-day operations.
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in all areas of the revenue cycle, identifying and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with clinical leadership and office managers to support revenue cycle processes aligned with clinical service goals.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to achieve efficiency and consistency in revenue cycle operations.
Monitor and optimize revenue generation and cash collection, minimizing bad debts through robust denial management protocols.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure revenue cycle performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Oversee the enhancement and integration of revenue cycle systems and technologies to optimize operations.
Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance.
Ensure an exceptional client experience as it relates to revenue cycle and front-end operations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle roles.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Health Care Administration, or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
Experience with healthcare revenue cycle software and data analytics tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to build effective relationships and lead cross-departmental teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and integrity.
