As Vice President of Engineering, you'll lead a global cross-discipline Engineering team across a Novanta global business unit, Celera Motion. You’ll provide executive leadership, build and execute Celera’s innovation and technical capability strategy, drive Celera’s growth engine by successfully bringing new cutting-edge products to market, develop a world class technical engineering team, and serve as an executive leader across Celera and Novanta corporation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead new product, technology, and sustaining engineering development across a multi-discipline global
business unit.
Set strategic goals, identify growth opportunities, and drive business initiatives that deliver innovative,
scalable new products and technologies.
Build and develop a world class technical engineering team capable of executing today and tomorrow’s
strategy.
Analyze complex engineering problems. Evaluate risks, developing effective strategies, and make decisions to overcome challenges and grasp opportunities that facilitate customer innovation, success, and growth.
Serve as an impactful, engaging, and visible executive senior leader across Celera and Novanta.
Requirements:
Possess excellent business acumen and a deep understanding of the industries in which we operate.
Demonstrate proven success leading and guiding large teams focused on delivering customer value through innovation.
Able to collaborate and influence effectively cross-functionally and across business units.
Understanding of critical technologies and ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Able to build and motivate high-performing teams and successfully drive organizational change.
