Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Vice President of Radiochemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the radiochemistry department and overseeing all aspects of radiolabeling and radioisotope production. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of scientific breakthroughs and contribute to the development of new pharmaceutical products. The role requires a deep understanding of GMP and CMC regulations and a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
As the Vice President of Radiochemistry, you will:
1. Lead the radiochemistry department, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
2. Oversee all radiolabeling and radioisotope production activities, ensuring adherence to GMP and CMC regulations.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support the development of new pharmaceutical products.
4. Manage a team of scientists, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements and regulatory changes in the field of radiochemistry.
6. Represent the company at industry conferences and events, presenting scientific findings and networking with other industry professionals.
7. Work closely with the executive team to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Radiochemistry position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of radiochemistry, including radiolabeling and radioisotope production.
4. Proven experience in managing a team of scientists and driving scientific research.
5. Deep understanding of GMP and CMC regulations.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company at industry events.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving scientific breakthroughs.
