Vice President of Payor Relations from Humanhire

About the Job
HumanHire is working with a multi-site private outpatient center in the Orlando area that has been in business for 35+ years in order to find a Vice President of Payor Relations. This role will be primarily responsible for managing payer contracts (negotiation, enrollment, etc.) and ensures smooth operation of managed care plans.
Job Details:
- Salary: Up to $165,000 per year plus bonus
- Location: Winter Park, FL
- Hyrbid Flexibility! 3 days in office, 2 days remote
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Responsibilities:
- Build & maintain relations with third-party vendors including payors & health insurance companies, assuming primary responsibility for organizational communication with payers during contract negotiations.
- Track, analyze, and present insights on the state of the payer industry through report cards and assessments.
- Manage contract lifecycles by managing renewals, revalidations, and renegotiations, and maintains a tracking database to ensure timely reviews and renewals.
- Supervise and lead a team of managers, providing guidance and support
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will come with 3-5 years experience in health insurance payor management & contract renegotiation
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Director or Vice President of a similar position
- Strong background in business development, profit loss management, and strategic planning
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvement initiatives
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
