SUMMARY: As part of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), direct operations and supply chain efforts while leading the implementation of company initiatives for both the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the Aftermarket (AM) business segments based out of Bonita Springs, Florida. Must be customer-focused driving rapid growth efforts supporting the strategic plan in a people-centered company culture. This position plays a key role in talent and succession planning for the leaders of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following; other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.
• Responsible for all facets of managing operations, procurement, production control/planning, quality, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
• Lead business-planning process for operations and collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop financial plans and goals.
• Establish and lead execution of operations strategies (footprint, sourcing, automation, etc.), including developing short and long-term plans, and ensuring that proper measures are in place to track progress.
• Initiate plans and drive actions as a positive change-agent and leader for lean manufacturing and strategic sourcing which drive continuous improvement and achieve measurable results.
• Manage all capital requirements in facilities and ensure equipment and machinery meet the required safety, quality and productivity requirements.
• Oversight of planning and master scheduling activities, effectively coordinating material requirements for production while considering order backlog and forecasts, supplier lead times and productive capacity.
• Utilize current key performance indicators to oversee the operations’ team, making necessary recommendations for on-going enhancements and ensuring adequate management reporting and visual management is in place.
• Oversee and act on policy deployment and sustainability in the areas of lean manufacturing techniques, cost reduction, complete and on- time delivery, safety, team member relations, visual controls and plant performance measurements.
• Champion continuous improvement focused on processes, while driving a solution-oriented environment with positive and sustainable results.
• Build and develop a supply chain culture, which has a bias for action, commitment to value-added services/processes, while creating and sustaining an empowering culture with support as needed, for interfacing with customers and suppliers on supply chain issues.
• Ensure compliance with Company standards for cost control, waste reduction, OSHA, safety, state and federal regulations and complete and on-time delivery at the lowest possible cost and superior quality.
• Designs, implements, and tracks the success of a Quality system and teams driven by statistics and analytics that ensures our ability to meet the high-quality standards committed to our internal and external customers.
• Establish and maintain the ISO and other Quality Management Systems which maximize the Customer Satisfaction and minimizes the Quality costs. Create and sustain the Quality Audit System across the entire organization.
• Promote open and direct communication channels that ensure timely and effective customer responsiveness is achieved.
• Continually assesses and attracts organizational talent.
• Drives the implementation and use of robust processes to ensure world class operational performance.
• Interface with R&D to guide the technical strategy and coordinate technical product development plans for the next generation market requirements.
• Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and team members; enforcing ethical business practices.
• Reviews and evaluates contracts and appropriations and expenditure requests submitted by immediate subordinates, approving those within authority.
• Coordinates, through joint consideration and planning, long- and short-term manufacturing objectives consistent with existing sales, projected sales forecasts, inventory requirements, and other factors involved.
• Reviews reports on manufacturing activities, performance, and results and initiates action to correct deviations and variables as to schedules, excessive costs, material shortages, or other deterrent factors.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
• Promotes the organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six Sigma Black Belt or other Lean Certifications preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, documents and regulations. Write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, team members and clients. Spanish language capability a plus.
