Job Details
Position Summary:
The Vice President of Operations oversees our Mooresville facility's general management and operations. Key responsibilities include managing Production, Quality, and Warehouse operations, with all department Directors and Line Leads reporting to this role. The VP of Operations will play a pivotal role in executing production, quality, and facility processes while identifying opportunities for improvement. Ultimately, this individual will ensure production goals are met, foster a motivated team, and maximize operational effectiveness. Our company is a privately held
company owned by a handful of individual private investors, as such the Vice President of Operations reports directly to a dedicated member of the Board of Directors, and will periodically present to the Board.
Responsibilities:
Directly manage Production, Quality, and Warehouse Supervisors
Responsible for production output and quality control
Develop, implement, and audit production processes and procedures with Supervisors
Establish and maintain key performance indicator reporting
Ensure compliance with facility certifications and audits
Ensure compliance with State, Local, and Federal regulations
Oversee company compliance with Human Resource matters
Implement a Preventative Maintenance program for equipment
Develop safety procedures and respond to safety incidents
Implement employee performance monitoring, training, and bonus structure
Cultivate a culture of motivation, quality, and safety
Responsible for P&L and financial forecasting support
