ROLE SUMMARY
The Vice President (VP) of Marketing and Sales leads the strategic direction and execution of marketing and sales efforts across the company's real estate development, construction, and property management divisions. This role is responsible for developing and implementing integrated strategies that increase market share, enhance brand visibility, and drive business growth. As a key member of the leadership team, the VP collaborates with executive leadership to align the company's vision and brand with its ambitious growth objectives, fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable results.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and sales strategies that align with the company's growth goals across real estate development, construction, and property management.
- Create long-term marketing and sales plans focused on brand development, market expansion, and revenue generation.
- Partner with divisional leaders to identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and business channels to enhance performance and growth.
- Utilize data analytics and market trends to evaluate and optimize business strategies, marketing initiatives, and partner engagement.
- Maximize the use of CRM systems and sales technologies to manage marketing and sales resources effectively.
- Present performance reports on marketing campaigns, business development outcomes, and partner satisfaction for executive review.
Marketing & Brand Management
- Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing plans, including digital marketing, social media, public relations, advertising, and traditional marketing strategies.
- Ensure consistent, cohesive brand messaging across all platforms, channels, and campaigns to build and strengthen brand equity.
- Manage and grow the company's digital presence, including SEO, SEM, content strategy, website management, and lead generation.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to refine marketing strategies and stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
- Champion the external talent brand, supporting employee education and the launch of company programs and engagement initiatives that drive satisfaction and retention
Business Development & Cross-Functional Integration
- Drive business development efforts to meet company objectives through a high success rate in development and construction RFPs, as well as exceptional property performance.
- Collaborate with the product development and investor relations teams to stay informed on new developments and investment offerings, shaping marketing and communication strategies that align with these initiatives.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including divisional leaders, investors, and tenants, to optimize business opportunities and partnerships.
- Identify and pursue networking and event opportunities that enhance the company's brand visibility and position it as a leader in the industry.
- Work closely with development, construction, property management, and finance teams to ensure marketing and sales strategies are in sync with project timelines, financial objectives, and operational priorities.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to align project launches, RFP strategies, and promotional campaigns with overall business goals.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing and business development team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Offer ongoing training and development opportunities, keeping the team up to date with industry trends, technology, and best practices.
- Cultivate a results-driven environment where team members are encouraged to take initiative, think creatively, and exceed performance goals.
CREDENTIALS | EXPERIENCE
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in marketing and business development, preferably within real estate, construction, or property management sectors.
- Proven track record in executing large-scale marketing campaigns and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience in multi-channel brand development, market analysis, and driving growth strategies.
