This leader must be able to apply exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills with business acumen and critical thinking to a wide variety of projects to help make decisions to improve the company internally as well as to grow through strategic partnerships and acquisition opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategy and direction for the finance, extended planning and analytics, human resource and accounting teams and their related technology at Support;
- Contribute to the strategic objectives, plans, and structure of the company through and providing a solid, reliable administrative platform from which the company can grow;
- Maintain positive and effective key strategic relationships with outside parties include the board of directors, bankers, auditors, and service providers.
- Research and gather information from a wide variety of sources including working with company operational leaders and finance to identify relevant financial, production, sales, and other data, as well as external research from third-party, industry, and government sources;
- Support the creation and maintenance of a companywide rolling forecast used to guide the company in short and long-term decision-making;
- Partner with operational leaders to manage the annual budget process;
- Support the Divisional Finance Business partners by ensuring accurate and actionable data is available for their daily/weekly needs for key analysis to drive improved business results;
- Provide performance tracking, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecast, for the executive team, and Board of Directors;
- Think critically about the business objectives for a given project, the risks and rewards, cost and benefits, and operational realities of the company’s business units, and apply those questions to the data in order to identify options and make recommendations to the executive team members;
- Strategize with senior leaders to develop plans for growth through acquisitions; support M&A activities and provide financial models for investments.
Treasury:
- Responsible for all cash management, investments, corporate financing, lending, and banking both in the US and Canada;
- Manage the company’s financial partner relationships; provide period, quarter end, and annual bank reports; organize and lead the company’s annual Financial Partner meeting.
- Oversees the activities of the Support Human Resources department to ensure human resource strategies are effectively executed and compliant with applicable laws and regulations;
- Oversee the company’s Human Resources Information System (currently UKG(Ultipro) to ensure the system meets the needs of the business and is fully integrated into operations, ERP, and other company platforms;
- Manage the company’s payroll, compensation, and employee benefits functions; coordinate closely with the divisional leaders to ensure alignment of policies and practices; and to ensure our compensation, incentive, healthcare, 401(k) profit sharing, deferred compensation, and other benefit programs are efficiently administered and continually improve efficiency and value;
- Be a leader on the 401(k) Retirement Committee.
- Ensure accurate, timely GAAP-compliant financials for all operations. Develop, implement, and audit SOPs for all finance and accounting functions to ensure operational alignment, efficiency, and best practices;
- Work with the company's outside auditor and Board of Directors Audit Committee to complete the annual financial audit and immediately address any identified deficiencies;
- Responsible for all tax reporting, compliance, and planning, including income, sales, use, and property taxes;
- Ensure compliance with Canadian taxes and other accounting or treasury regulations.

- Ensure implementation of succession planning and development programs for more than 100 finance, accounting, and human resources professionals throughout the organization.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, accounting, finance or a related field;
- 10 years’ experience in progressively senior financial or administrative roles, including in a recent C-Suite role;
- Previous experience leading finance and administrative teams. Strong Computer skills in MS Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel;
- ERP Implementation experience;
- Experience leading technology functions related to administration;
- Experience leading HR, payroll, and employee benefits functions;
- Ability to write reports and correspondence;
- Keen eye for details and exceptional problem-solving skills;
- Operational curiosity;
- Exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills;
- Reliable and thorough with a deep commitment to accuracy;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently;
- Curious learner & operationally focused.
- MBA, advanced degree, or professional certifications;
- Experience in M&A transactions;
- Food industry or manufacturing sector experience.
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
