Role and Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Management: Work in close collaboration with senior leadership to devise and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy. Your goal will be to secure and grow both unrestricted and targeted funding, ensuring the organization's robust, continued growth.
Relationship Building & Partnership Development: Forge and nurture relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders. Your focus will be on developing partnerships and sourcing funding that aligns with our mission and strategic goals, making a lasting impact on the community.
Strategic Planning & Process Optimization: Lead the creation of strategic fundraising plans and operational protocols. You'll ensure our fundraising operations are streamlined, impactful, and aligned with our broader strategic objectives.
Communication & Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with our Marketing team to boost awareness and support for our cause. Your work will involve crafting compelling marketing materials and strategies to engage and attract potential donors.
Resource Acquisition & Financial Stewardship: Drive efforts to secure financial support, adhering to budgets and fiscal responsibility. You'll play a key role in ensuring the organization's financial health and sustainability.
Talent Management: Embody and promote our organizational values, leading by example. You'll recruit, mentor, and inspire our development team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Ideal Candidate
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in development roles within a nonprofit setting, ideally with a national scope.
Skills: Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in fundraising success.
