About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Investor Relations . The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive investor relations strategy, serving as a key spokesperson to the investment community, and leading the Investor Relations team. This role requires a seasoned executive with a background in finance, treasury, strategy, or communication, and at least 5 years experience in leading investor relations for a publicly traded company. The VP will be the voice of the investor internally, monitoring and presenting the investment community's opinions to management and the Board of Directors. They will also be involved in creating and presenting key investment messages, preparing for the quarterly earnings process, and managing the company's Investor Relations website. Applicants for the VP position should have a strong network of investment community relationships, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a Bachelor's degree (MBA with an emphasis in finance preferred). The role demands a leader with unquestionable honesty, ethics, and personal integrity, who is a broad strategic thinker and is highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be a transparent and straightforward communicator, with a bias for action, a sense of urgency, and the courage to take calculated risks. Responsibilities also include collaborating with various teams to create an Environment, Social, and Governance platform, and ensuring a consistent message on branding and strategy in collaboration with Corporate Communications and Government Relations teams.
