We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Network Engineer to join our Network Services team. This role is in Pittsburgh/Lake Mary (2-3 days in office required). The candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
• Design, implement, and manage large-scale enterprise DMZ network environments.
• Responsible for end-to-end design and implementation of network service patterns through a DMZ environment including routing and switching, load balancing, firewall, and proxy.
• Development and maintenance of engineering documentation and standards including designs, configuration standards, regulatory standards, and DMZ network strategies.
• Participate and collaborate is other technical teams to develop network architectures which support business and client needs.
• Participate in audit related activities to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support for incident related activities escalated from network operation teams.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 8-10 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience in the financial industry a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc) DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing, and Firewall policy.
• Strong understanding of networking across the OSI model.
• Hand-on experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus, SDWAN, and IOS-XE required.
• Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to collaborate with a global team.
