This pivotal role reports directly to the President and is critical in shaping and sharing our vibrant narrative globally. The ideal candidate will spearhead strategic initiatives to elevate our brand across our campuses in Boston, Los Angeles, and the Netherlands, ensuring our story reaches and resonates with a diverse range of audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the college's core values and strategic priorities.
Lead a talented team of nearly 30 professionals, managing functions such as media relations, social media, college publications, crisis communications, and public relations.
Collaborate closely with senior leaders and departments to foster a unified approach to branding and communications.
Champion a college-wide brand refresh, including conducting a branding and market positioning study slated for 2024.
Enhance digital and analytical capabilities within the marketing and communications framework, incorporating industry best practices and innovative tools.
Serve as a strategic advisor and key member of the leadership team, contributing to high-level decisions and long-term planning.

Qualifications
Proven leadership in strategic communications or marketing with a significant track record in higher education or similar fields.

Extensive experience in brand management, digital marketing, and integrated communications strategies.
Exceptional communication skills, adept at crafting and disseminating clear, persuasive, and concise messages.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; advanced degrees or certifications in related fields are preferred.
