Vice President Finance
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To direct and manage the analysis of overall company revenues and expenses as well as specific client revenues; to direct and manage ad hoc financial analysis projects; and to direct and manage the strategic planning group within the Finance department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs and manages the Strategic Planning staff; establishes business plan with goals and objectives for the Strategic Planning group.
- Leads managers and related staff in analyzing overall company revenues and expenses as well as revenues and expenses for specific clients.
- Provides leadership and coordination for setting revenue and expense targets for the organization.
- Directs ad hoc reporting assignments; leads ad hoc supporting analysis and results communication with maximum cost savings recommendations.
- Participates in due diligence for acquisitions with upper management for potential acquisitions; coordinates acquisition integrations for the Finance department.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
- Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. CPA and advanced degree preferred.
Experience
Ten (10) years accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include four (4) years supervisor experience.
