We are seeking a dynamic and experienced full time Vice President of Clinical Development. We are at the cutting edge of biotechnology and pharmaceutical research, specifically within the field of oncology. This role is integral to our team, driving the late phase of our clinical development projects. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the strategic planning and execution of all clinical development programs for late phase oncology.
2. Oversee the design and implementation of clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with GCP and ICH guidelines.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the successful completion of development projects.
4. Provide medical and scientific expertise to internal teams and external collaborators.
5. Lead the preparation and submission of New Drug Applications (NDAs) and other regulatory filings.
6. Monitor and interpret data from ongoing and completed studies.
7. Provide leadership and mentorship to the clinical development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
8. Represent the company at scientific, advisory, investigator, and regulatory meetings or hearings.
9. Ensure the highest level of ethical standards and quality in all clinical development activities.
Qualifications:
1. Medical Doctor (MD) degree is required.
2. A minimum of 12 years of experience in clinical development within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
3. Proven experience in oncology drug development and ealry/late phase clinical trials.
4. Extensive knowledge of clinical trial design, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
5. Proven experience in preparing and submitting NDAs.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to travel as needed to represent the company at various meetings and conferences.
10. Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high levels of personal integrity.
