We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Client Coverage, Alternatives Asset Servicing team. This role is located in Boston - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Play a key role in identifying and targeting global alternative managers within the private credit, infrastructure, private equity & real estate segments.
- Serve as a strategic relationship manager to a book of existing relationships & play a consultative role to the client, advising client leaders on the best way to achieve short- and long-term strategic objectives while aiming to retain and increase BNY wallet share.
- Identify opportunities to evolve client business for incremental account growth.
- Develop, track, and report on relationship strategy/results for assigned client portfolio.
- Seek out and maintain prospect relationships with a focus to establish new relationships.
- Cover key centers of influence within the alternatives industry to raise brand awareness including audit firms, legal advisors, consultants & prime brokers.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7-9 years in Sales/Relationship Management within Financial Services.
- Custody, Fund Administration, or Prime Brokerage experience required.
- Demonstrate track record in exceeding sales or growth targets, cross sell of solutions.
