Overview
The Vice President (VP) of Asset Management Solutions will drive growth of NV5’s Asset Lifecycle Management practice with market vision, strategies and solutions. Duties of this senior level position include developing and executing the go-to-market strategies, supporting account executives’ communications with prospects and clients, expanding current capabilities beyond geospatial into several of our core engineering business lines such as water resources, infrastructure, energy and developing and driving Trimble and Esri solutions to grow the business. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of ALM growth strategies that meet NV5 business development objectives, utilizing his/her professional network and experience to work with existing clients and to identify new clients, in securing new business opportunities and sales. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record, building programs and influencing revenue, a deep understanding of the technology industry in government and private markets. This role will report to SVP, Sales of Geospatial at NV5 but will actively engage with Geospatial vertical sales leads and operational leadership as well as leaders across core NV5.

Responsibilities
- Develop the Program: Develop and execute the ALM vision at NV5. Expand existing operate and maintain services and solutions within geospatial into design and build within the company’s core Engineering business lines (Infrastructure and Building technologies).
- Influence Revenue: Create and execute revenue generation strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives, ensuring consistent revenue growth and profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the verticals within geospatial as well as the other business lines at the company to align strategies and drive coordinated efforts towards revenue goals.
- Sales Team Influence: Assist account managers in developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities for business growth, and in executing account prioritization, account resourcing, and account planning, including direct client interactions and meetings.
- Expand Service & Solution Offerings: Adapt and assess new technology trends to translate them into solutions that address client needs.
- Business and Partner Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to expand the company's market reach, system of record penetration and expansion and revenue streams for end-to-end asset management. Foster relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers with government, public and private markets to drive growth.
- Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns, solution positioning strategies, and demand generation initiatives to drive revenue growth and increase market share. Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars, as necessary.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry and government trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new revenue opportunities and anticipate market shifts.
- Grow Network Connections: Leverage available resources to successfully build a professional network, prospect, and develop opportunities to contract/partner with key state, local, regional and commercial stakeholders that have a need for ALM solutions.
Qualifications
Competencies & Skills:
- Consultative in nature! Possess the ability to understand and solve the client’s business problem(s).
- Ability to engage clients, track and qualify leads, and close sales.
- Advanced knowledge of the application of ALM solutions to Federal, State, Local & Regional Government and commercial customers.
- Capable of presenting new technologies and ideas to decision makers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write, present, white board, and negotiation skills including good listening, probing, and qualification abilities.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and business growth.
- Knowledge of the sales pipeline, B-A-N-T qualification methodology and CRM systems.
- Highly motivated team player with a mature, positive attitude and passion to meet the challenges and opportunities of a business.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable revenue growth plans.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT/GIS, Geography or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of sales and/or influencing sales role with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Knowledge of ALM, geospatial mapping and GIS software and federal and state fiscal years, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- Demonstrated experience with leading high-level/executive engagements to provide services and solutions to federal, state, local, regional and commercial agencies.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating, prospecting, proposing, and winning contracts and/or grants.
- Demonstrated experience with strong partnerships and advocacy with clients.
- Experience developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for new products or solutions.
